About the Class

We all know the phrases ‘You are what you eat’ and ‘Good health begins with Good Digestion’ to be true. In this class we will look at the impact certain foods, herbs, and spices have on the digestive system and how to optimize our health by making a few simple changes to the everyday foods we eat. If we do not digest well, we can not absorb what we need from all the good food we are eating, nor can we properly eliminate what is not useful to our body. We will talk a little about the needs of our bodies and how we can help ourselves through the foods we eat. Come prepared to learn, have fun, ask questions about your own health, and cook some specifically chosen dishes with Nutrition Consultant Lisa Miller and Chef Olive for this exciting class!
